Noida will get more power in summer

By RAJIV GOYAL

800 kV transmission line to connect Champa in Chattisgarh to Kurukshetra is commissioned by PGCIL, a GOI company to transport electricity across states.

It will lead to increase capacity to transfer another 1500 MW by march 17, which is only 6200 MW currently

Lots of power generators are in chattisgarh which produce electricity very cheap but could not transfer it to North resulting loss to them as well as load shedding in North

UP is going to get around 500 MW power from this line; so cheers with higher supply of electricity in summer in Noida too
