Major relief to Noida parents : Committee to probe fee hike

(12/04/2017) Noida : Heeding to continuous protests of parents Noida district administration on Tuesday formed a committee to probe allegations of unjustified fee hike by some private schools.

City magistrate, district school inspector and district basic education officer are the three members of the committee who will submit their report to DM N P Singh within next seven days.

Parents have been holding protest in different parts of Gautama Buddh Nagar district for about last 15 days.

It has also come to knowledge that UP CM Yogi Adityanath has taken cognizance of the matter. He undertook a meeting with state education department and discussed prospects of establishing a regulatory body for private schools.

District magistrate has also said that parents can approach the administration with a written letter of complaint if they want any school to be probed in this regard.

Based on large number of complaints the probe will begin from DPS G B Nagar and Cambridge School.
