The issue of traffic congestion on the arterial Udyog Marg, where a one-way rule was in place since January 22, has finally been addressed as the Noida Authority removed the divider on the road from Gol Chakkar intersection to Sandeep Paper Mills intersection. The divider was creating a major confusion among commuters as the traffic police had started issuing challans to one-way rule violators from June this year and the latter would question the presence of a divider on the road which has been made one-way.
The traffic police, which had repeatedly asked the Noida Authority to remove the divider and put ‘one-way’ signages on the Marg, welcomed the move saying it would help to implement the rule effectively.
