WATER TREATMENT PLANT IN NOIDA – LETTER SENT TO CHIEF MINISTER YOGI ADITYNATH

To,
The Honorable Chief Minister of U.P.,
5 Kalidas Marg,
Lukhnow.

Respected Sir,

We bring to your kind notice the totally unsatisfactory position of drinking water in Noida, District Gautam Budh Nagar. The water being supplied through the taps in various sectors of Noida is quite often muddy, black in colour and emits foul smell. The residents of the district are apprehensive that sewer water may not have got mixed with the drinking water. That is why, most of the residents feel that the tap water being supplied to the house holds is neither fit for drinking nor fit for bathing. Further, the pressure of the water is also quite low on most of the days. To overcome the above problems, many residents of Noida have started using underground water by way of tube well, submersible etc. due to which the level of the underground water is depleting very swiftly in the Gautam Budh Nagar District.

To solve the problems referred to above, there is an urgent need of a water treatment plant in Noida. The population of Noida has increased many folds during the past several years but the quality of drinking water has worsened. As such, there is an urgent need for the provision of a WATER TREATMENT PLANT in Noida. Residents of Noida are afraid that if timely action is not taken to improve the quality and quantity of drinking water in the city, many people will fall prey to the water borne diseases.

We, therefore, very humbly request you to please personally look into the matter and take immediate and effective steps to provide clean drinking water to the residents of Noida.

With Warm Regards,

Yours Faithfully
