Regarding Sector 18; issues or pain to travel can be resolved if it can be developed like Little India of Singapore or central market of Oslo…complete ban on cars within market including motor cycle etc. Allow only battery run rickshaw in market at defined rate say Rs 50 per person for 4 hours for multiple ride on any rickshaws
Removing all poles including street light and instead using street lights using string connecting two buildings like in Zurich market or in lipzieg Germany in front of railway stations. Illumination level should be 150 lumens at each place.
All electric cables need to be made underground, it looks very shabby that wires are put on MS structures, didn’t find such an innovative model even in Lagos / Abuja in Nigeria
Market association may contribute to provide assistants to police for safety & security so that common force is available for every shop.
Already there are 3-4 big malls, in time to come this may not remain attractive place for visitors and may find huge competition from both malls & atta
After all sector 18 shops are purchased @ Rs 30 K per sqft. Problem is in planning by keeping limited space on commercial side by NA; let them increase FARs for commercial, allow mixed land use, develop 6-7 more markets like sector 18 in entire noida like at sec 62, 50, 76, 120, 107, 91; why everyone should be forced to come to sector 18 and feel harassment over parking. Once this is done, shops will be cheaper as well products to customer would also be at cheaper price
What I am pointing out customers pain who have to purchase materials at double triple rates as naturally shopkeepers have to take out their investments
The other point is what shopkeepers sells is not sold by hawkers and customers are different even if they sell same.
In any case leasing out space to hawkers by these shopkeepers is a commercial crime.
Last but not the least, the way some friend has labeled corruption charges against cops, NA and administration on hawkers is simply a biased approach.

On each festival, people from distant places come for earning and put up bending which also benefitted citizens. I have spoken to few of them, they are so poor that earning of one festival runs their family upto next festival.
Are we a society of heartless people who are eying on these people and accusing entire administration. I am surprised how they give wrong and bad name to markets? Across the year people take booze in cars in same market that is never been talked off. Bad name is not developed due to these people but many of those shopkeepers of same market who take money from these people also.
In many markets, such an extortion is going on by shop owners who take rentals from hawkers putting up their stall in front of shop. That’s purely a public place for public benefit.
The same material we are forced to purchase from malls comes at double triple rates.
Just think about old people also who cannt go long to purchase all these things.
The hawkers must be planned to accommodate in all sectors of noida along with development malls & shops, on monthly rent to end user only , with proper documentation like Aadhar card. Once a hawker is allotted a space on rent against a Aadhar card , we will be able to reduce subsidy budget also.
One can easily see that there is no planning for such small hawkers , rehri-Patri etc in noida , lack of housing for poor.

First of all I congratulate to our chairman Sh. Rama Raman ji as he will look after Noida as head of the Authority again. We hope with him & Noida team for the development but traffic jam is increasing day by day and encroachment is one of the major reason. Pl look into the matter although our DCEO is doing very good work & quick action/respond but improvement is not satisfactory.
