If you wish Noida to be Singapore , citizens must pay like Signapore city.

Rajiv Goyal

If inverters have helped for a long time as alternative to electricity, RO for water supply … small compost machines at households can also work.. but you are right that for long term solution.. Authority has to invest for garbage disposal… and to commence .. WtE plant with subsidy is need of hour .. and RWAs must cooperate NA by paying services for garbage disposal, may be @Rs 10/- sqmt per annum , by each whether household, flat or shop , hospital or industry .. instead doing popular politics , RWAs need to work in tandem … just think … what will people do with money saved .. if they are subjected to foul air and diseases … we want to be Singapore kind of city, and citizens want to pay like Signapore city.

Noida Authority approach to the multi level parking is irrational and undemocratic

The appeal of "democracy" is broadly defined as equality of conditions and end of hierarchy. Democracy opposes unlimited power to any organization or individual. It allows the civil society to generate an "Idea" and build your world in accordance with the idea.

*Never have we known a man to walk on his head!! But Noida Authority is doing exactly that.*

*Its approach to the multi level parking is irrational and undemocratic. The parking was made with public money. It was meant to ease parking and promote business in Sector-18.*

*And what has Noida Authority achieved? It is destroying business in Sector-18 due to its ever increasing desire to milk money from public. And the parking problem has taken a new avatar!!*

*Dostoyevsky has mentioned in one of his treaties – "there is no soil, there is no people, nationality is just a certain tax system!!". How true even in today’s context.*

*Keep on walking on your head Noida Authority. You have a reverse Midas Touch.*

People should start a Peaceful Civil Disobedience Movement against Noida Authority

By Col. (Retd) P Chandra

People should start a Peaceful Civil Disobedience Movement against Noida Authority on this issue and few other important issues being messed up. Gandhi Ji had done it against Britishers. Merely writing letters and listing them on this forum has not worked so far. It will not work in future also.
*Another option is to exercise your voting right. If political dispensation can not protect citizens against non performance of Noida Authority then hold them responsible.*

Noida is a classic example of Urbanization without Planned Growth of Supporting System

Col P Chandra

Noida : Due to short sightedness and lack of relevant competence of Noida Authority the city is suffering from *Urbanization without Planned Growth of Supporting System*

A growing city like Noida needs *Well planned support system.*

The bureaucracy has failed miserably in its duty of creating a well balanced support system for Noida. Noida Authority can not manage even the parking facility in Sector-18 without unecessary confusion. Garbage disposal isdue is not being addressed holistically. So how can a citizen have faith in Noida Authority?

*Without waiting any further UP Government should hire professionals to create, operate and maintain all civic facilities.*

*A Peoples’ movement is required to demand this change from UP Government*

Noida Authority has miserably failed to plan, develop a dumping ground

By A N Dhawan

Noida : Noida Authority has miserably failed to plan, develop a dumping ground, have it approved and get it as designed site. After notification of 8th April, 2016, they planned ASTOLI. did some work and then shifted their focus to 137. and on NGT,’s objection, turned to 123 and when the residents objected there, turned to 54. After Dr Mahesh ‘s intervention and announcement at Dharna, they are now undecided. Quite shameful and poor planning. No guidelines, by-laws framed even by State administration, in pursuance of the notification issued two years ago by GOI (8.4.2016). No solution seems to be in sight based on the haphazard thinking and approach of NA, assigned to look after municipal services.
