NOIDA (23/1/2022): Congress candidate Pankhuri Pathak has raised one of the most important issue of NOIDA housing societies in her Facebook live.
She said, “The many flat buyers who have booked their flats didn’t got the possession on time and they are fighting for their alone. It is very shamefull that they have to go to the Delhi High Court or Supreme Court to get the justice. I promise that I will fight for them and they don’t have to fight alone anymore”.
“There are several builder societies in NOIDA where people got the possession in 2010 but still they are fighting for the registry of their property. When they ask for registry they have been told that there is some payment issue between the builder and the NOIDA Authority. I want to tell all of you that if the same party is sitting in the center, at the post of Chief Minister,
and in the post of the Member of Parliament and the people are not getting their fundamental rights then I think there is lack of political will.” She added.
Mrs. Pathak has also put some light on another problem of Apartment Owner Organisations (AOA) who works for the smooth functions of the societies are using the maintenance charges for their own good.
“The members who are sitting on the senior position in this organization are not letting to do the elections and they are not ready to step down. They have been collecting the maintenance charges from the residents and using it for their own personal good. According to the bylaws their should be regular elections and no member of AOA can hold the post after a particular tenure. They are exploiting the residents with help of the ruling party and mafias.” She said.
She also added that, “If we get a chance, we will make an organization to resolve this issue of the AOA mafia, we will conduct time to time election, will do the third party audit so that will be transparency of use of the maintenance charges”.
