Legally City Magistrates have power in various sections of law for solving social evils. There are many case laws where orders of City Magistrates are upheld by higher courts. It would be prudent for senior members of society to discuss the proposals, it’s pros & cons; if necessary any modification to solve problems, discuss with City Magistrate, as he has also express willingness to modify it if required.
An administrative officer need social support to solve social problems. Many officers donot dare to come forward for radical suggestions. We all must empower them with social support as long as solutions to public problems can be implemented. Any solution on this earth cannot be perfect one and may give problems to some people. But anything which can provide relief to 95% people must be atleast given go ahead as pilot project
