I went to vote at 8 am at army public school Noida sector 37. There were many complaints of missing names from the voting list. These people were regular voters and had their voter cards in possession. My family members were also not let to vote due to the same problem. How can it happen that full series of address ranges were missing.
This is a big question mark on the legitimacy of the voting list as the residents living in the society of sector 37 for the past 20-30 years were not able to find their names in the voting list.
These people were helpless and agitated while going through the situation.
When I checked the list I found there were more than 200 flat residents missing from the list including my family.
The residents made their complaint to the Sector Magistrate. He was also helpless.
BJP candidate Pankaj Singh came to site for inspection at the same moment and registered a complaint with the RO and District Magistrate regarding the same.
Many people said that their names were put in wrong voting lists like a voter had to go to Chhalera Polling Booth in spite his regular booth being 37 because of a mistake by the election officers in the list.
Voters tried to get help from the SMS Helpline regarding the location of their polling station but the line found their records missing despite them possessing valid voter cards.
