Noida, 16th September, 2022: HCL Foundation and Noida Authority are jointly organizing the Clean Noida Run and Waste management exhibition to celebrate the World Cleanup Day on 17th September, 2022 (Saturday) at Noida Haat, Sector-33 in order to make it one of the biggest civic events of Noida.
World Cleanup Day is one of the greatest socio environment event which unites millions of human folks worldwide to tackle global waste problem.
Over 191 countries join hands and participate to celebrate the day.
The aim of World Cleanup Day is to raise awareness of the unmanaged waste situation by organising all sectors of society to join in cleanup efforts. It also harnesses the collective strength of people all over the world to accomplish wonderful things.
Its beauty rests in cooperation and collaboration: bridging diverse communities and involving all levels of society, from citizens to business to government.
Through this day, HCL foundation along with Noida authority intend to engage maximum citizens of Noida city to add to the cause.
The event will feature an exhibition based on the 3Rs, i.e. ‘Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle,’ as well as a variety of multiple engagement activities such as cultural events, fun games, and multiple stall representations. The programme will begin at 7 am. Thousands of city residents have already registered to participate in this socially engaging event.
Noida authority CEO Ritu Maheshwari, ACEO Praveen Mishra, ADDL CEO Manvendra Singh and CGM Rajiv Tyagi did not immediately respond to requests for comment by Ten News.
