Greater Noida, 18th September 2022: Greater Noida Police team had a clash with a gang of miscreants on late friday night. A troublemaker was shot in the leg during this encounter. While his three accomplices managed to flee.
According to the preliminary investigation, all accused were involved in cow slaughter and were looking for a prey in Dankaur area. Police recovered illegal weapon, wooden gutkha, rope, and cow carcasses from their possession.
Police said that the injured miscreant has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. He has been identified as Taju’s son Yakub, a resident of Atta Fatehpur Kotwali, Dankaur.
Yakub’s three accomplices are being searched by police. During the preliminary inquiry, the police discovered that these miscreants had been carrying out the incidence of cow killing in the district for a long time.
Noida Police has undertaken a special anti-cow slaughter campaign. More than 24 cow slaughter culprits have been imprisoned since the implementation of the commissionarate system in Noida and Greater Noida.
