From 14th April power supply to entire Uttar Pradesh is going to increase in terms of number of hours.
UP is now purchasing power from Indian energy exchange and state generators are producing almost 10000 MW now.
Demand is touching almost 16000 MW and expected to touch 18000 MW
UP is also gearing up to augment transmission capacity with the help of PGCIL to complete ongoing projects by end of June.
Parts of NCR region that come in UP will be benefitted a lot with augmentation of transmission capacity.
