Rising Noida is a major initiative by GVEMSS(NGO), Noida to make Noida litter free and ODF free.The
objective of Rising Noida can be delivered through a simple set of action plan of social change in the citizen of Noida i.e., behavioural change and public awareness about ill effects of poor sanitation and waste management.The newsletter covers vivid initiatives and efforts by Noida authority to functionalise and achieve major objective of Swachh Bharat Mission.
This weekly newsletter covers this week’s initiative that bring attitudinal and mindset changes towards safe sanitation and sustainable Solid Waste Management in the city of Noida. Noida has till now taken numerous steps to achieve its 1st rank in the state and 25th in the country and is gunning to attain 1st position in the upcoming Swachh Survekshan 2021. This newsletter brings news of such stories from the different circles in Noida showcasing ground level practises and efforts in making Noida clean and litter free.
Likewise, this week bulletin covers Noida Authority initiative with HCL Foundation by providing 74 drain cleaning cart/trolleys to sustain the ongoing work for cleanliness. Along with this 200wheel barrows were also provided by the Noida Public health department on the occasion. Simultaneously a plastic free Campaign was also successfully completed by Noida Authority Public Health Department.
Every week Safaigiri programme is also covered in the newsletter as it serves as a platform for the people to directly interact with the Noida Authority officials and strengthen the belief of the citizens on Noida Authority.
