NOIDA, 18th Jan 2022: A former student of Hansraj College, Pankhuri Pathak has emerged as one of the most talked about female contender for the UP Elections 2022.
Previously known for being an outspoken spokesperson of Samajwadi Party, Pathak had changed gear in past and reposed her faith in Congress. She remained out of limelight for a while but her patience finally paid off as she has now got the assembly ticket to contest poll from Noida- a high profile constituency which has traditionally been a BJP stronghold.
Pankhudi Pathak has been working in the State Politics since the age of 24. She joined politics at a young age while pursuing her college studies and took inspiration from Akhilesh Yadav and joined the Samajwadi Party. She was selected as the first female spokesperson of the SP when she started her political career.
Married to another young politician, Pathak lives in Sukhra Village at Sector 115, Noida.
Her outspoken demeanor and will to fight has made her the talk of the town. Recently she met the residents of Pan Oasis- sector 90 and got a bit angry when she heard that the registry of their plots is still pending even after continuous filing since 2009. In attempt to strike a chore, She said that small matters have been overlooked by the current government and should be resolved as soon as possible. She is with the residents of Noida and claims that she will work her level best to solve their problems if she is voted to power.
While Pankhuri seems well-prepared to give a tough fight, her road isn’t going to be an easy one. While people are welcoming her with open heart and eagerly listening to her speeches, how many of these convert to votes is still have to be seen.
