Noida, 1 September, 2022: A nine-member delegation from the Samajwadi Party will meet Shrikant Tyagi’s wife Anu Tyagi at her apartment in Noida Sector 93-B at Omaxe Society, according to a letter released by SP.
The SP delegation, which will arrive in Noida on September 2, will first gather accurate information about the mistreatment suffered by Anu Tyagi and her daughter Ingila Tyagi while in police custody from August 5 to September 9.
When Shrikant Tyagi disappeared after the viral video, his wife and daughter were allegedly apprehended by police. On August 27, Akhilesh Yadav referred to the event in Omaxe Society as the character of BJP during a programme in Noida.
According to the letter, the delegation includes MLA and former UP minister Shahid Manzoor, former minister Narad Rai, District President Muzaffarnagar Nagar Pramod Tyagi, District President Gautam Budh Nagar Inder Pradhan, former candidate Noida Assembly Sunil Chaudhary, former minister Bhushan Tyagi, Sevaram Tyagi from Ghaziabad, State Executive Member Shravan Kumar Tyagi, and Deepak Tyagi alias Bambi from Muzaffarpur.
Shrikant’s wife Anu Tyagi has levied serious accusations against Noida MP Dr. Mahesh Sharma, saying, ‘This entire conspiracy is of Dr Mahesh Sharma. He has brought my family and my husband into this. She claimed that her husband was subjected to illegal treatment.
On August 5, a video of Shrikant Tyagi harassing a woman at the Grand Omaxe Society went viral on social media.
Shrikant Tyagi was arrested four days later, on August 9, along with three other Meerut-based accomplices.
