Noida (22/12/2023): International Inner Wheel is celebrating 100 Years of it’s existence. Manju Sud, the Centennial President of Inner Wheel Club NOIDA CITY District 301, celebrated COV (Chairman’s Official Visit) the most prestigious day for any IW Club. District Chairman Dr. Urvashi Mittal was the Chief Guest. After Lamp Lighting, Inner Wheel Prayer and Ganesh Vandana were recited. Introductions of the Club President Manju Sud and the District Chairman Dr. Urvashi Mittal were read. All the Office Bearers of IWCNC presented their relative Reports in the presence of District Vice Chairman Manisha Kaushik, AC Member Mala Rishi, District Editor Anju Ahuja, PNE PDC Seema Khaitan, PDC Karuna Bhalla, PDC Neelu Khanna and PDC Madhu Nagpal.
Manju Sud was installed as the CHARTER PRESIDENT of Inner Wheel Club NOIDA CITY.
President Manju Sud hosted a Talk Show .. MAAZA WITH MANJU .. on the tune of popular show Koffee with Karan. DC Urvashi Mittal was her guest. A Sufi Dance was performed by Club Member Laxmi. The finishing touch to the COV was given by playing Antakshri among the Club Members and the District Dignatories.
On the spot, Club President Manju Sud did a COV Project also, under the Inner Wheel ZERO WASTE Committee. Manju Sud owns a Candle Manufacturing Unit in Noida. Coconut Shells, which are a WASTE after shredding out coconut out of it, were used for making Candles.This Candle Project was done keeping in mind, the International Inner Wheel Theme in it’s 100th year .. SHINE A LIGHT. Other 4 COV Projects done earlier were….
(1). On International Day for Persons with Disability, a Musical Programme .. स्वरांजलि – मधुर स्वरों की खनक .. was organised in NEA Auditorium Sector-6 Noida for and by the Children with AUTISM. These Autistic Children performed songs on stage. Audience applauded their efforts with moist eyes.
(2) An Education Trip for the Underprivileged Children of Navratan Gyanpeeth was organised. They were taken to Biodeversity Park in Noida, where all the Nine Planets present in Horizon are displayed with their complete details. It helped Children learning about our Navgrahas. It was a Picnic-cum-Education Trip for them. Under Club’s . शीत कवच अभियान .. Woollen Sweaters too were given to these children.
(3). Rs. 5000/- for 5 PITHUs (Monthly Ration Kits) were sponsored for the retired Army Officers/their widows/families through NGO, Support Our Heroes. President Manju Sud , who is already sponsoring one PITHU every month, wished to do so lifelong.
(4). Through SUPPORT OUR HEROES, also donated a Wheel Chair for a 85 yr old Retired Army Officer.
Alongwith Club President Manju Sud in COV were present .. Club Secretary Jyoti, VP Indramani, ISO Dipali, Editor Suman and Members of the club Surinder, Babita, Geeta, Laxmi and Neeta. The Presidents of the other IW Clubs too attended it.
