I have been reading messages from well meaning citizens of Noida about numerous issues of Noida. *My impression is that Noida Authority is inherently not efficient enough to make Noida a better city*.
Concerned departments can’t even keep drains clean, can’t even keep all street lights functional.
How do you expect such an organization to make Noida a Smart City? Horses can not fly and you will not be able to make this elephant dance.
Following are some of the restarining forces that I can put down in a hurry. Of course following list can be further expanded:-
*Prioritization of pending projects*
*Rationilazation of manpower*
*Failure to enforce accountability*
*Organizational restructuring because present organization structure has failed to deliver*
*Field visits by senior officers are lacking. We need many officers like Saumya Ji who have missionary zeal to improve things*
*CEO is unable to handle complexities of responsibilities given to Noida Authority*
*CEO is unable to handle stubborn and inefficient employees in the staff. We have not heard about any action against non performing staff members*
*Noida Authority has failed to manage its short term and long term finances. This has adversly affected citizens of Noida*
*Failure to address issues of thousands of home buyers. The senior officers are unwilling to confront builders*
*Noida Authority has failed to deliver even on basic things like hygiene, roads & street lighting, drains, drinking water supply, encroachment, traffic control & its enforcement, adequate parking etc*
*So I do not expect much improvement in the civic conditions in Noida*
*They will continue to get their salary, benefits and promotions. We will continue to complain on WhatsApp*
