Gang canal situated at Irrigation department Muradnagar will release water on Diwali night.
From the canal water will be released on Diwali night and this water will reach Noida on 22 October after getting treated from Pratap Vihar water treatment plant.
Executive engineer of irrigation department told press that now work of maintenance is on-going in canal and it will get over on 19th October after that water will be released in canal. Senior project engineer Ramakant Srivastava who is associated with Gang Canal project said that for now as of alternative option to meet the requirements of Noida 325 tube wells are supplying 250 MLD water.
