Residents from sectors 117 to 122 protested against waste to energy dump site at neighboring sector 123. They were joined by women-children as well as by villagers from nearby areas such as Sorkha, Parthala, Sarfabad etc.
The residents claim that more than 10000 families lives are at stake who reside in sectors 117, 118, 119, 120, 121, 122 etc. They demand that such dump site must not be allowed at this place.
The residents have already petitioned DM BN Singh and MLA Pankaj Singh in this regard.
