Noida, (1/1/2019): The work of Noida-Greater Noida Aqua Line Extension route may start from this month. The NMRC is about to send the permission letter to the administration this week.
The NMRC has decided to start the work in two phases.
The construction of 9.5 km stretch is in the first phase. This stretch will include two stations of Noida and three stations of Greater Noida.
The Noida-Greater Noida West Route has been scheduled to start in 2017, but for some reasons it got posponed. Now after 2 years, this route will come under implementation mode.
However, the construction of this route will not be a tough task for the workers.
As the Metro Depot is already there and also the Casting Yard is in working mode.
With these two eases already present there, Manpower for the work is also working. So, the NMRC does not have to do extra efforts.
The work can be completed before 2021, as the length of the stretch is not even half as compared to the Noida Greater Noida route.
Meanwhile, the commuters are still waiting for the Noida-Greater Noida Metro which is supposed to be inaugurated on 25 December 2018.
