Today Noida police had arrested two liquor smugglers during a routine checking drive under sector 39 Police stations. Accused were arrested by police team when they were smuggling their assignment in a truck from a road near Mahamaya Flyover heading towards sector 44. During the search, police had recovered 350 cartons of illegal liquor worth 35 lakhs in the market.
The accused use to smuggle illegal liquor by taking a route through Delhi- Noida-Uttar Pradesh and reaching to Bihar. The arrested accused were identified as Yusuf, a resident of Palwal district Haryana, and his accomplice Vikas, a resident of Lakhisarai district Bihar. Both the accused were sent to jail after being presented before the court.
