Panel formed under the chairmanship of Meerut Commisioner Dr. Prabhat Kumar today held a meeting with different stakeholders including FONRWA, CONRWA, NEA and other representatives to discuss structure of municipal body in Noida.
NEA has suggested that either Noida Board must have representations of different stakeholders such industrial body representatives, RWA representatives etc. Or Noida should be declared free hold and seperate Municipal Corporation be setup.
The major suggestions that have come include that there should not be a political makeover of the corporation and elections must be avoided in this, however most people are of view that there must be public representation as well.
