The programme was organised by BIS( Ministery of consumer Affairs, Govt of India) and Noida authority . BIS and Noida authority has signed MOU last year for awareness programme .
Shri. Rajesh kumar Singh, OSD of Noida Authority representing Noida Authority elaborated the scheme of Solid Waste Management proposed to be implemented in Noida in details and the role of RWAs, Resident’s and the contractor.
Shri Binod Kumar Sinha, Sr. Director and head BIS(NITS) under Ministry of Consumer Affair, Govt of India explained that there is a need to follow the objectives of the program and to involve the residents to participate in the cleanly ness drive as well as Solid Waste Management program which has to be followed in Noida by all the residents.

The RWA sector 51 Noida has coordinated this programme where about 60 residents from all the RWAs of sector-51 participated in addition to office bearers of FONRWA , Noida as well as of RWA sector-51, Noida.
