Kathak artists join Janmashtami Celebration at Sector-23, welcome lord with classical dance

Noida, 21st August, 2022: The Grand celebration of Janmashtami was held at Community centre Temple of Sector-23 on 19th August 2022 at 8:30. The function was organized by M.P Sharma, General secretary of RWA-23, Noida.

 

A dance drama based on Krishna Leela, choreographed by Krishna Kala and Nritya Foundation was presented during the celebrations.

 

As many as 15 Kathak artists took part in the Programme to showcase their captivating performances. Dr. Anu Sinha, a renowned Indian classical dancer, led the dance, mesmerizing the audience with her performance.

 

In Conversation with Ten News Network, GB Nagar MP and former union minister Sharma, who also happens to be the general secretary of RWA-23 said that, “The youth artists who displayed their dance skills did so in a quite beautiful way, I hope we can get more such beautiful experiences every year and I wish them a bright future.”

 

On speaking to Ten News, Kathak Artists from Krishna Kala and Nritya Foundation, said, “Firstly, I would like to thank Anu Sinha ma’am and everyone else for providing us with wonderful platform to showcase our dances. I’d like to congratulate the Krishnakala Foundation on a successful Krishna performance especially on the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to play Krishna in this act.”
