Patriotic performances mark I-Day celebrations at GIP mall, visitors enthralled

Noida, 14th August, 2022: The Deputy Director of GIP, Syed Shameem Anwar, planned an exceptional cultural event in honour of Azadi ka 75th Amrit Mahotsav on August 13 at The Great India Place mall, Noida.

To celebrate the 75th Independence Day, many performances by young artists took visitors by surprise and was lauded by one and all.

Several dignitaries from various associations, including Rajeshwari, Founder of Thyagraja Centre for Music and Dance, Murugan from Nithya Chaitanya Kalari, and Durgeshwari Singh, Director, Gyaneshwar institute , Greater Noida, Gajanan Mali Founder of Ten News Network were invited to the ceremony as guests of honor.

The event started with a lamp lighting ceremony following which child performers from Thyagraj Centre for Music and Dance and Gyaneshwari Institute presented classical and Bollywood dance performances on patriotic tunes.

 

Additionally, some other fantastic performances – by young Indian artists from Nithya Chaitanya Kalari Insititute – such as Martial arts, were witnessed at the event.

Moreover, a performance centred on freedom fighters, titled the Manikarnika Act- The Queen of Jhansi, was given by young child artists.

After the performances, the organizing team felicitated the artists with gift hampers and certificates of participation.

In an Interview with Ten News, the event’s organiser, Syed Shameem Anwar said, “We have all been waiting for a long time to arrange such cultural events in GIP because we haven’t been able to do so for the past two years owing to the Pandemic.”

 

Taking forward to his conversation, Founder of Tyagraj Institute, Rajeshwari stated that,“ The largest mall, GIP, hosted this cultural event today after a lengthy absence, where classical dances and martial arts were also showcased, And I’m glad to see the children celebrating their independence with such zeal.”

“I’m glad to see that the colours were scattered someplace, and today these kids have brought those scattered colours back by making them permanent. Before COVID, we organised the last event on January 26, 2020, before 2 years. Today, after 2 years, we organised this event, “said Durgeshwari Singh, Director, Gyaneshwar institute, Greater Noida.
